Study on CO emission during DOC assisted DPF regeneration

Abstract Diesel particulate filters is the most effective post-treatment device used to reduce diesel exhaust emissions. As amount of matter captured in filter continues increase, pressure engine gradually increases, thereby affecting power performance engine. Therefore, when capture reaches a certain value, needs be regenerated. Regeneration will produce secondary pollution, which CO one important pollution. In this paper, generation mechanism and influencing factors regeneration process are analyzed. The effects flow on emission during measured through experiments. results show that back greater than 80kPa, solubility gas increases rapidly, decreases linearly with increase regeneration. order tail filters, shall less 80kPa as high possible.
